I'll Be Eating Easter Dinner In Korea!
We leave Saturday morning, and we'll bring Emma home on Wednesday! I bought our tickets this morning, we both (mom and I) have our passports on hand, and this time (please please please) nothing is going to go wrong. Or at least what might go wrong is not going to keep us from bringing home our baby!
There is a chance we might be escorting another baby boy home, and I am really excited about this, too. Being a part of another couple's adoption story is very special, and if we can help another baby come home without an extra-long wait for an escort then I am happy to help out. Or rather, my mom is.
We also worked out the schedule so we'll have an entire free day in Seoul to explore. I am really happy with the way this worked out, as I want to take pictures for Harry and Emma's lifebooks, and I want to make sure I get to experience a little bit of the city and country before having to get back on the plane.
I also bought fabric to make mei tai carriers for myself and my mom, so we can carry the babes in comfort and style.
I am feeling very very calm Very happy, but also very calm and collected. This is good. This is much better than the chaos that ensued a few weeks ago. I just need to throw a few things in my suitcase and I am ready for travel! (hah! I make it sound so easy! I know I'll be a nervous wreck as the time to leave approaches, but for now I am enjoying the calm).
